ENERGY STAR® Air Conditioning Program

Receive up to $1000 in Rebates for High Efficiency Air Conditioning!

Increase your home’s comfort and reduce your energy bills by installing a new, high efficiency central air conditioning system. The Energy Smart Program provides rebates for the purchase and installation of energy efficient central air conditioners and heat pumps.

Who Can Participate?
Any residential customer who receives electrical service from Entergy New Orleans, Inc. is eligible to receive rebates for ENERGY STAR® rated units installed by Energy Smart Participating Local Contractors.

How Can You Participate?
Contact a Participating Local Contractor from www.EnergySmartNOLA.info to schedule an estimate. When you replace your air conditioning or heat pump system with an ENERGY STAR unit, the incentive amount will appear as a discount on your invoice from the contractor or you may submit a mail-in rebate to Energy Smart.

Incentive Amounts
Rebates are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and funding is limited. Energy Smart incentives are in addition to other eligible tax credits or rebates. Rebates are available only for the replacement of existing units. Fuel switching activities and new construction projects are not eligible.
